Apayao State College (ASC) proudly celebrates a significant milestone with the awarding of the Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) for its Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) and Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering programs by the Commission on Higher Education-Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR).

The certificate for the BSABE program, offered at ASC Luna Campus, was received today, July 17, by Quality Assurance Director Luningning Aribbay and Program Chair Engr. Claire Aquino, held at CHED-CAR, Benguet.

This esteemed recognition from the CHED-CAR led by Atty. Septon A. Dela Cruz alongside Engr. Abraham Os-Osa, Education Supervisor II, and Dr. Geraldine Casipit, Chief, Education Program Specialist, affirm that ASC’s curriculum, faculty qualifications, and learning resources meet national standards for excellence, solidifying the program’s reputation and assuring students of a quality education that prepares them for success in these professions.

This achievement is the result of the concerted efforts of dedicated ASC teaching and non-teaching personnel who worked tirelessly to bring this goal to fruition.

At the forefront is the steadfast leadership of College President Dr. John N. Cabansag, whose vision and commitment have propelled ASC forward, even amid the challenges of its location in the rural province of Apayao. Under his guidance, the college continues to uphold its mission of delivering responsive and relevant education that addresses both community needs and industry demands.

The granting of the COPCs is not merely a compliance milestone; it is a powerful testament to ASC’s enduring role in cultivating a technically skilled, industry-ready workforce.
